How we check our guides

The Visit HB editorial desk researches information from councils, parks, transport services and the businesses themselves. Guides are based on published sources unless we specifically describe a visit or specialist review.

Source links and check dates help you see where information comes from. A checked date records a review, not a guarantee that prices, opening hours or conditions will stay the same. Confirm important details with the organiser or provider before travelling or paying.

Corrections and questions

Spotted something that has changed? Email hello@visithb.com.au with the page link, the detail that needs correcting and a reliable source if you have one. Safety, access, prices and schedules take priority. We recheck corrections before updating a guide; a design change alone does not create a new factual check date.
